Dear Staff, Parents and Students of Brooklyn School for Social Justice,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Cooper as Principal of Brooklyn School for Social Justice as of January 11, 2022. I am truly appreciative of the cooperation and support that I know you will extend to him this school year and beyond.
I hope you will join me in congratulating and welcoming Patrick Cooper as the newly appointed principal.
The superintendent’s team and the Brooklyn North NYCDOE Borough Office will continue to provide leadership support to Mr. Cooper as well as academic and operation support to the school in all areas. As Mr. Cooper has served as the interim acting principal for The Brooklyn School for Social Justice since last July, I am confident that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure a smooth transition.
