BSSJ will be hosting the last blood drive of this school year. We are asking for support from the Bushwick Campus community and beyond to donate/spread the word. Not only would you help save a life, but if we collect a certain number of pints, our NHS members can receive scholarship money from the NY Blood Center. All students who are 16 must have parent consent. (Please see Ms. Wade for a consent form). If you are donating, please make sure to eat and drink plenty of water the day before as well as the day of donation. It’s important to be hydrated. After you donate it is also important to take it easy for a few hours and do not overwork yourself. Also, while supplies last all present donors will receive a FREE t-shirt.
